Special Friends Riding Lessons

sfriends_riding3_100pxTherapeutic horseback riding is the use of the horse and equine-oriented activities to achieve a variety of therapeutic goals. Riders experience increased self-confidence, as they learn to control the horse as well as their own body. Riders show improvement in strength, balance, coordination, attention span, language and social skills, and also receive therapeutic muscle stimulation. Weekly lessons are for individuals with special needs, ages 8 and up.

Special Friends Day Camp and Overnight CampExperience a camp specifically designed for special needs persons age 15 through adult. Enjoy all the fun activities and camp adventures such as swimming, mini golf, trail rides (extra fee), challenge course, crafts, skits, and more!
