Canoeing
Canoeing can be used as recreation and/or instructional time. The canoeing is done in Port Susan Bay which is a fantastic place to study estuary ecosystems.
There are several canoes and kayaks which will hold from one to three people each. A lifeguard will be present to give instruction and provide life jackets. No minimum age with adult supervision.
Availability of the canoes is dependent on the height of the tides. Tickets are purchased through the receptionist starting at 8am for canoeing going on that day only. Tickets are sold on a first come, first served basis. Group arrangements may be made in advance through the Guest Service office. Group Recreation Reservation Information.pdf
